Everybody is equal.

FUNKE AKINDELE: The most foolish thing I've ever done for love - Read content on my facebook or visit http://adex.4t.com/bestofstars.html

Many people in the world see themselves as more superior than others. They think since they can put food on their table, drive in expensive cars, attend the best schools, live in magnificent mansions, have the largest wealth e.t.c, nobody can be compared to them. However, what they fail to realise is that none of their assets in life can be used as an exchange for their lives.

No matter how wealthy you are or how influential you are in the society, you have only one life to live just like every other person. Although, it's not unusual to be proud of one's success in life but it becomes abnormal if it is exaggerated. Some people are so arrogant that they see their neighbours who are not as successful as they, as nothing.

The verse in the bible which states love your neighbour as yourself, is no longer observed by many people rather, they prefer to love themselves more than their neighbour. It's unfortunate to see that many people don't value the life of their neighbour just because they want to attain a higher post in life. Many lives have been ruined due to our non-chalant attitude towards the welfare of our neighbours. Some people no longer see their neighbours as important as they and because of their love for money and penchant for material things they often show, 'I don't care attitude' towards their neighbour.

Indeed, this is heart-rending and I think the only way out is for all of us to start loving our neighbours as ourselves. It is when we do this that we can see and treat everybody equally without any discrimination.
