Everybody is equal.

Many people in the world see themselves as more superior than others. They think since they can put food on their table, drive in expensive cars, attend the best schools, live in magnificent mansions, have the largest wealth e.t.c, nobody can be compared to them. However, what they fail to realise is that none of their assets in life can be used as an exchange for their lives.

No matter how wealthy you are or how influential you are in the society, you have only one life to live just like every other person. Although, it's not unusual to be proud of one's success in life but it becomes abnormal if it is exaggerated. Some people are so arrogant that they see their neighbours who are not as successful as they, as nothing.

The verse in the bible which states love your neighbour as yourself, is no longer observed by many people rather, they prefer to love themselves more than their neighbour. It's unfortunate to see that many people don't value the life of their neighbour just because they want to attain a higher post in life. Many lives have been ruined due to our non-chalant attitude towards the welfare of our neighbours. Some people no longer see their neighbours as important as they and because of their love for money and penchant for material things they often show, 'I don't care attitude' towards their neighbour.

Indeed, this is heart-rending and I think the only way out is for all of us to start loving our neighbours as ourselves. It is when we do this that we can see and treat everybody equally without any discrimination.

Be the best you can.

One of the things that baffles me in life is that everybody doesn't reason the same way. I wonder how the world would have been if we all reason the same way and see things in the same direction. It's ridiculous to think that some things that are impressive to some people are discouraging to other people. Human beings are different in every ramification so also, our thoughts, desires and goals. In life, you may be disappointed with the kind of response you get from people especially for doing something great, but the most important thing is to have a goal and a burning desire to achieve it. With that in mind, nothing can stop you from actualizing your God given destiny.

If others have succeeded in any line of endeavor that you wish to take, that is enough evidence that you too would succeed if only you put yourself to work and determine to succeed. People who have made it in life do not have two heads. They live in the same world that we live. The strategy to succeeding is to find out what those people know, the challenges that they have passed through and to put those findings into practice. If you implement this strategy correctly, you would find yourself making the same progress. So, it is advisable for you to be the best you can and not try to impress anybody but yourself and have the fulfilment in you that you have done something great.

The moment you start thinking of the benefits you can get from people on what you have done, I'm afraid, that may mark the beginning of your failure as you may never be appreciated by these people in the society. And always have this in mind that people may fail many times but they become failure only when they begin to blame someone else. Never attribute your success or failure to anybody for you are the real architect of your success or failure in life. Remember, no one can make you to succeed or fail in life if you don't agree to listen to them.
